La Strada, the festival for street and puppet theatre
in Graz (Austria),
more than deserves its international tag. This year a recurrent theme throughout the programme is the topic of migration. There will be various different perspectives and approaches, from a perilous escape with TheatreFragile on through the eternal and seemingly aimless journey of the Spanish group Kamchatka, directed by Adrian Schvarzstein, to land with aliens trying to conquer Graz from Slovenia.

La Strada, das Festival für Straßen- und Figurentheater
in Graz (Österreich),
trägt nicht umsonst die Bezeichnung „international“ im Namen. Wie ein roter Faden zieht sich heuer der Themenbereich Migration durch die Programmgestaltung. Dabei wird es die unterschiedlichsten Perspektiven und Zugänge geben, von der riskanten Flucht mit dem TheatreFragile über die ewige und scheinbar ziellose Reise der spanischen Gruppe Kamchatka unter der Regie von Adrian Schvarzstein bis zu Aliens, die von Slowenien aus versuchen, Graz zu erobern.
