Good news for travelers
crossing frontiers.
On January 1st 2009, the number of
European Union countries that share the same currency grew to 16
with Slovakia which joined the Union in 2004.
The Slovak Republik borders
the Czech Republic and Austria to the west, Poland to the north,
Ukraine to the east and Hungary to the south.
Let’s wish Slovakia the best
with the euro which celebrates its 10th anniversary.
